Why we fly the flag:

Expressing your sexuality is so important for not just you but everyone around you and in your community. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I have so much experience with feeling ashamed. I remember as a young lesbian, I moved into a new house, and my neighbor had a simple rainbow pride flag. I was so happy and felt so welcome there. From that point forward I knew it was important to express my pride to make sure others felt as welcome as I did in that moment. During the Covid-19 lockdown, I began crafting a lot. Once I realized I could make these flags for others, I knew I had found my calling. I called up my lesbian support group, and we got to making flags! It started off small but now we have blossomed into a beautiful company and community, harboring a safe space for people just like us to express themselves. That, my friends, is why we fly the flag.
